Air Fryer Pineapple (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 fresh whole pineapple, skin removed and core cut out
02 - 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
03 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

# Instructions:

01 - Start by heating up your air fryer to 375°F. While it's warming up, you can prep your pineapple.
02 - Take your cleaned pineapple and carefully slice it into 8 even rings. Try to make them roughly the same thickness so they cook at the same rate. Set these beautiful golden rings aside for now.
03 - Grab a small mixing bowl and combine the brown sugar with the cinnamon. Give it a good stir until everything's well blended - this aromatic mixture will create that perfect caramelized coating.
04 - Generously sprinkle your cinnamon-sugar mixture over both sides of each pineapple ring. Don't be shy here - you want every bite to have that sweet, spicy flavor.
05 - Carefully arrange the seasoned pineapple rings in your air fryer basket, making sure they're not overlapping. Cook for about 8 minutes, then flip each ring and cook for another 8 minutes until they're beautifully caramelized and golden.
06 - Remove the pineapple from the air fryer and serve immediately while it's still warm. The edges should be slightly crispy with that gorgeous caramelized coating intact.

# Notes:

01 - Don't pack your air fryer basket too full - depending on its size, you might need to cook the pineapple in smaller batches for the best results.
02 - Always let your air fryer preheat properly, just like you would with a regular oven. Hot air circulation from the start gives you much better caramelization.
03 - Cutting your pineapple slices to the same thickness ensures they all finish cooking at exactly the same time.
04 - This Brazilian-inspired treat makes an amazing light dessert, especially during warm summer months when you want something sweet but not too heavy.
