Big Mac Salad (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the seasoned ground beef

01 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
02 - 10 oz ground beef (about 300g)
03 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
04 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
05 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
06 - 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

→ Fresh salad components

07 - 8 cups fresh romaine lettuce, roughly chopped
08 - 1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese, freshly shredded
09 - 1/2 cup dill pickles, thinly sliced
10 - 1/2 cup yellow onions, finely diced
11 - 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
12 - 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional for crunch)

→ Creamy Big Mac-style dressing

13 - 1/2 cup quality mayonnaise
14 - 2 tablespoons ketchup
15 - 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
16 - 1 tablespoon white vinegar
17 - Salt to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon, until completely browned and cooked through. For extra flavor, crank up the heat during the last minute to get a nice sear on the meat. Season generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder, then stir everything together. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped romaine lettuce with the cooled seasoned beef. Add the shredded cheddar cheese, sliced pickles, diced onions, and halved cherry tomatoes. Gently toss everything together so the ingredients are evenly distributed throughout the salad.
03 - In a separate small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, ketchup, yellow mustard, and white vinegar. Whisk vigorously until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. Taste and add a pinch of salt if needed to balance the flavors.
04 - Drizzle the creamy dressing over the assembled salad, starting with about half and adding more to your preference. Toss everything together until each component is nicely coated with the dressing. Sprinkle with sesame seeds if using, then serve right away while the lettuce is still crisp and fresh.

# Notes:

01 - This hearty salad captures all the iconic flavors of a Big Mac burger without the bun, making it perfect for low-carb and keto diets.
02 - Feel free to customize with additional toppings like crispy bacon bits, cucumber slices, or grated carrots for extra texture and nutrition.
03 - For enhanced flavor, try adding a dash of Worcestershire sauce or a squeeze of fresh lemon juice to the dressing.
04 - The salad is best enjoyed immediately after dressing to maintain the crispness of the lettuce.
05 - Make sure your ground beef is completely cooked with no pink remaining before adding it to the fresh ingredients.
