Blue Smoothie Bowl (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Smoothie Base

01 - 2 perfectly ripe bananas
02 - 2 white peaches, skin removed
03 - 1 cup fresh pineapple chunks
04 - 1/4 cup creamy coconut yogurt
05 - 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
06 - 1 1/2 teaspoons blue spirulina powder
07 - 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

→ Fresh Toppings

08 - 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, diced
09 - 1/4 cup unsweetened coconut flakes

# Instructions:

01 - Get your cookie sheet ready by lining it with parchment paper. Chop all your fresh fruit into bite-sized pieces and arrange them in a single layer on the sheet. Pop everything into the freezer for about 2 hours until completely frozen solid.
02 - Before you take the fruit out of the freezer, gather all your remaining ingredients and have them ready to go. Speed is key here since frozen fruit starts softening quickly once it hits room temperature.
03 - Toss your frozen fruit chunks into a high-speed blender along with the coconut yogurt, maple syrup, vanilla, and that gorgeous blue spirulina powder. Pulse everything together, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed, until you get a thick and creamy smoothie consistency.
04 - Divide your beautiful blue smoothie between bowls and get creative with your toppings. Sprinkle on the coconut flakes, scatter those fresh strawberry pieces, and add any other favorites you love. Dig in right away while it's perfectly cold and thick!

# Notes:

01 - Using parchment paper makes it super easy to remove the frozen fruit pieces without them sticking to the pan.
02 - If you're not making this right away, you can transfer the frozen fruit to freezer bags or containers for later use.
03 - Pro tip: stick your serving bowls in the freezer while you're blending to keep your smoothie bowl extra cold and thick.
04 - Leftover smoothie can be stored covered in the freezer for up to 2 weeks - just let it sit out for a few minutes to soften before eating.
