→ For Cooking

09 - Cooking oil for the pan

# Instructions:

01 - Grab a large mixing bowl and combine the ground chicken with chopped spinach, crumbled feta, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and mayonnaise. Gently mix everything together - don't overwork the meat or your burgers will turn out tough and dense.
02 - Divide the mixture into 5 equal portions, about 3.5 ounces each. You can use a kitchen scale for precision or line a 1/2 cup measuring cup with plastic wrap for even portions. Form each portion into a patty and press a small indent in the center with your thumb - this prevents the burgers from puffing up while cooking.
03 - Heat a lightly oiled skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Place the patties in the pan and cover with a lid or large bowl to create a dome effect. Cook for 4-5 minutes on the first side, then flip and cook uncovered for another 3-4 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 155-160°F. Let the burgers rest for 5 minutes before serving to lock in the juices.

# Notes:

01 - For perfectly even patties, line a 1/2 cup measuring cup with plastic wrap, pack in the meat mixture, then gently flatten and unwrap onto your plate.
02 - If you're using frozen spinach instead of fresh, use only half the amount and make sure to thaw it completely and squeeze out every bit of water before mixing.
03 - These burgers can also be grilled over medium-high heat for 4-6 minutes per side, baked at 375°F for 15-20 minutes, or air fried at 400°F for 10-15 minutes.
