Easy Cranberry Meatballs (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - One 32-ounce bag of frozen pre-cooked meatballs (approximately 50 pieces)
02 - One 12-ounce bottle of chili sauce
03 - One 14-ounce can of jellied cranberry sauce
04 - 1 to 2 tablespoons of light brown sugar (if you prefer a sweeter taste)

→ For Serving (Optional)

05 - Cooked white rice
06 - Thinly sliced green onions
07 - Fresh chopped cilantro

# Instructions:

01 - Grab a bowl that's safe for the microwave and mix together your chili sauce and the jellied cranberry sauce. Pop it in the microwave for about 30 seconds to warm it up, then give it a good stir. If you've got a bit of a sweet tooth, toss in a tablespoon or two of brown sugar at this point.
02 - Toss all those frozen meatballs into the bottom of your crockpot. Pour that cranberry sauce mixture right over them and stir everything around so each meatball gets nicely coated. Set your slow cooker to high and let it go for 2 hours, or if you've got more time, cook them on low for 4 hours.
03 - These are perfect straight from the crockpot as a party snack, or you can serve them over some fluffy rice to make it a proper meal. Sprinkle some sliced green onions or fresh cilantro on top if you want to fancy it up a bit.

# Notes:

01 - Keep any leftovers in a sealed container in your fridge for 3 to 5 days. Make sure you store them with all that delicious sauce or they'll dry out and lose their flavor.
02 - When you're ready to eat them again, just warm them up in the microwave or on the stovetop until they're heated all the way through.
03 - If you'd rather use your oven, put the meatballs in a baking dish, pour the sauce over them, cover everything with foil, and bake at 350 degrees for about an hour to an hour and a half.
04 - Feel free to swap the chili sauce for BBQ sauce if you want something smokier, or use grape jelly instead of cranberry sauce for a different twist.
05 - Got leftover cranberry sauce from Thanksgiving? Perfect! Use that instead of the canned stuff.
06 - Want more tang? Add a splash of white vinegar. Want it sweeter? Try mixing in some orange juice along with that brown sugar.
07 - Looking for a lighter option? Go with turkey or chicken meatballs instead of beef.
08 - This sauce works great with other proteins too - try it with chicken wings or little cocktail sausages for a fun variation.
