Hawaiian BBQ Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 3 pounds boneless chicken breasts (about 4 to 5 pieces)
02 - 2 cups your favorite barbecue sauce
03 - 1 can pineapple chunks in juice (20 ounce can)

# Instructions:

01 - Add the chicken breasts, barbecue sauce, and pineapple chunks with their juice to a 6-quart slow cooker. Give everything a gentle stir to coat the chicken.
02 - Cover with the lid and cook on low heat for 6 to 8 hours, or if you're in a hurry, cook on high for 3 to 4 hours until the chicken easily shreds with a fork.
03 - Using two forks, shred the cooked chicken right in the slow cooker and mix it thoroughly with all the delicious sauce and pineapple.
04 - Spoon the hawaiian chicken over steamed rice and sprinkle with chopped green onions for a fresh finishing touch. Serve while hot and enjoy every bite!

# Notes:

01 - Store any leftovers in the refrigerator in a sealed container for up to 5 days - perfect for meal prep!
02 - This recipe works beautifully served over rice, but you can also try it with quinoa, cauliflower rice, or even in sandwich rolls.
