Easy Blueberry Cobbler (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the fruit filling

01 - 4 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
02 - 1/2 cup white sugar
03 - 1 teaspoon fresh lemon zest

→ For the cobbler topping

04 - 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
05 - 1 cup all-purpose flour
06 - 1 cup granulated sugar
07 - 2 teaspoons baking powder
08 - 1/4 teaspoon fine salt
09 - 3/4 cup whole milk
10 - Ground cinnamon for dusting

# Instructions:

01 - Heat your oven to 350°F. Cut the butter into small chunks and place them in a 9x13-inch baking dish. Slide the dish into the warming oven so the butter can melt while you prep everything else.
02 - In a medium bowl, gently combine the blueberries with sugar and lemon zest. Toss everything together until the berries are nicely coated.
03 - Using another bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Pour in the milk and stir just until everything comes together - don't worry about making it perfectly smooth.
04 - Take your pan out of the oven once the butter has melted completely. Spoon the seasoned blueberries right over the melted butter, then drizzle the batter evenly across the top. Finish with a light sprinkle of cinnamon.
05 - Place the cobbler in the oven and bake for 35-40 minutes, until the top turns a beautiful golden brown. Let it cool slightly before serving with vanilla ice cream if you'd like.

# Notes:

01 - This cobbler works beautifully with either fresh or frozen blueberries - no need to thaw frozen ones first
02 - The batter will seem thin when you pour it, but it puffs up wonderfully as it bakes
03 - Best served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or fresh whipped cream
