Family-Friendly Dinner (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Chicken Pillows

01 - 2 tubes (8 oz each) original crescent rolls
02 - 2 cans (12.5 oz) canned chicken, drained (or 2 1/2 cups cooked shredded chicken)
03 - 1 bar (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
04 - 1/4 cup sliced green onions
05 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
06 - 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley

→ Breadcrumb Topping

07 - 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
08 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
09 - 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
10 - 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 375°F. Get a cookie sheet ready by spraying with cooking spray or lining with parchment paper.
02 - In a bowl, combine the drained chicken, softened cream cheese, sliced green onions, garlic powder, and parsley. Mix everything well with a wooden spoon until thoroughly combined. Pro tip: microwave the cream cheese for about 30 seconds to make it extra soft and easier to stir!
03 - Open the crescent roll tubes and separate into triangles. Place about 2 tablespoons of chicken mixture on the wider end of each triangle.
04 - Roll up each crescent, tucking in the sides as you go, until the filling is completely enclosed. Place each pillow on your prepared baking sheet.
05 - Mix the breadcrumbs, garlic powder, dried parsley, and Italian seasoning in a small bowl. Roll the top of each chicken pillow in this mixture to coat.
06 - Bake for 10-14 minutes until the chicken pillows are golden brown and cooked through. Serve them hot and enjoy!

# Notes:

01 - These chicken pillows make a perfect quick weeknight dinner that the whole family will love.
02 - You can use leftover chicken, rotisserie chicken, or canned chicken - they all work wonderfully in this recipe.
03 - Try using flavored cream cheese like garlic & herb or chive and onion for an extra flavor boost.
