Frozen Banana Snickers Bites (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 3 large ripe bananas
02 - 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter (or PB2 powder prepared with water)
03 - 1/2 cup chocolate chips
04 - 2 teaspoons coconut oil
05 - 1/4 cup roasted peanuts, roughly chopped
06 - Caramel sauce for drizzling (sugar-free or regular, if desired)

# Instructions:

01 - Get a baking sheet ready by covering it with parchment paper. This will keep your banana bites from sticking.
02 - Peel your bananas and cut each one in half crosswise. Then slice each half down the middle lengthwise so you end up with nice flat pieces. Arrange them in a single layer on your prepared baking sheet.
03 - Combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in short 15-second bursts, stirring between each interval, until the chocolate is completely smooth and melted.
04 - Spread about a tablespoon of peanut butter over each banana slice. If you're using caramel, drizzle it on now. Scatter the chopped peanuts over the top, then finish with a generous drizzle of your melted chocolate.
05 - Sprinkle just a few more crushed peanuts over the chocolate layer for extra crunch and visual appeal.
06 - Pop the baking sheet into your freezer and let the banana bites freeze for at least 2 hours, though overnight works wonderfully. When you're ready to enjoy them, let them sit out for about 5 minutes to soften slightly. Keep any extras stored in a freezer-safe airtight container.

# Notes:

01 - Feel free to swap in white chocolate if that's more your style, or experiment with different nuts like crunchy walnuts, almonds, or cashews.
02 - To make these completely dairy-free or vegan, simply use plant-based chocolate chips and opt for a vegan caramel like date caramel, or skip the caramel entirely.
03 - These frozen treats will keep beautifully in an airtight, freezer-safe container for up to 3 months. Just remember to let them thaw at room temperature for about 5 minutes before digging in for the best texture.
