Chicken Sausage Patties (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 lb fresh ground chicken
02 - 1 tsp fine sea salt
03 - 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
04 - 1 tsp dried sage, finely ground
05 - 1 fresh garlic clove, finely minced
06 - 1 tsp Italian herb seasoning blend
07 - 1 tbsp pure honey

# Instructions:

01 - Grab a large mixing bowl and add your ground chicken along with the salt, pepper, sage, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and honey. Use your hands to gently combine everything until the mixture is evenly distributed throughout.
02 - Shape the seasoned chicken mixture into 8 equal-sized patties using your hands. Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet, cover with plastic wrap, and let them rest in the refrigerator for at least 10 minutes so the flavors can meld together.
03 - Heat a drizzle of oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. When the pan is nice and hot, carefully place 4 patties in the skillet and cook them for 4-5 minutes on each side, flipping just once to get a beautiful golden crust.
04 - Remove the cooked patties and repeat the same process with the remaining 4 sausage patties until they're all perfectly golden and cooked through.

# Notes:

01 - Store leftover sausage patties in the fridge for up to 5 days in an airtight container once they've cooled completely.
02 - These patties freeze beautifully for up to 2 months - just remember to thaw them in the refrigerator before reheating.
03 - Reheat quickly in the microwave or warm them back up in a skillet on the stove until heated through.
04 - You can also make these in the oven or air fryer if you prefer those cooking methods.
