Cut the kielbasa into round slices, each about half an inch thick for even cooking.

Heat your skillet over medium heat and cook the sausage slices until they're nicely browned on both sides.

Toss in all the remaining ingredients - rice, peas, mustard, seasonings, and water. Give it a good stir to combine everything evenly, then bring the mixture to a rolling boil over medium-high heat.

Turn the heat down to low, cover the pan, and let it simmer gently. Stir occasionally and cook until the rice becomes tender and most of the liquid has been absorbed.
