# Ingredients:

→ Burger Patty Mix

01 - 1 pound ground beef
02 - 1 pound ground Italian sausage
03 - 1 large egg
04 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning blend
05 - ½ cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
06 - ½ teaspoon kosher salt

→ Toppings & Assembly

07 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
08 - 1 green bell pepper, sliced thin
09 - ½ medium onion, sliced
10 - ⅛ teaspoon kosher salt
11 - 8 ounces cremini mushrooms, sliced
12 - 6 slices low-moisture mozzarella cheese
13 - 6 hamburger buns
14 - 1 cup pizza sauce
15 - 24 slices pepperoni
16 - Fresh basil leaves for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, Italian sausage, egg, Italian seasoning, breadcrumbs, and salt. Mix everything together gently until just combined, then shape the mixture into 6 even patties.
02 - Get your grill heated up to medium heat, around 350-375°F. If you're using an indoor grill pan, heat that up too.
03 - Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Toss in the sliced peppers and onions with a pinch of salt, and sauté them until they're nice and soft with golden edges. Move them to a plate, then add the mushrooms to the same pan and cook until they're tender.
04 - Place your burger patties on the grill and cook for about 4 minutes on the first side.
05 - Flip those burgers over, then immediately top each one with a slice of mozzarella cheese. Grill for another 4 minutes until the cheese melts and the burgers are cooked through.
06 - Place each burger on the bottom half of a bun. Spoon some pizza sauce over the burger, add 4 pepperoni slices, then pile on your sautéed vegetables.
07 - Top with fresh basil leaves and an extra drizzle of pizza sauce if you'd like, then cap it off with the top bun and serve while everything's hot and melty.
