Halloween Breadstick Bones (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - A handful of all-purpose flour for dusting your workspace
02 - 1 pound of pizza dough (homemade works great, but store-bought is perfectly fine)
03 - 2 tablespoons of melted unsalted butter
04 - 1/2 cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese
05 - 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
06 - Marinara sauce for dipping (homemade or your favorite jarred variety)

# Instructions:

01 - Heat your oven to 375°F and line a couple of baking sheets with parchment paper. Dust your countertop lightly with flour so the dough won't stick while you're working with it.
02 - Split your pizza dough into 10 equal pieces and roll each one into an 8-inch rope, making the ends slightly thicker than the middle. Space them out on your prepared baking sheets with about 2 inches between each one. Here's where the magic happens - use kitchen scissors to snip a 1-inch cut into each end, then gently pull those pieces apart to create the bone shape.
03 - Brush each breadstick bone with the melted butter, then sprinkle the Parmesan cheese all over them. Pop them in the oven for about 15 minutes until they start looking golden.
04 - Take the breadsticks out and top them with the mozzarella cheese, then return them to the oven for another 5-7 minutes until that cheese gets all melty and delicious. Serve them up warm with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.

# Notes:

01 - Your pizza dough will be much easier to work with if it's at room temperature rather than cold from the fridge.
02 - Kitchen scissors are your best friend for creating the bone shape - don't bother with a knife as it'll just make the job harder.
03 - While marinara is classic, these would also be amazing with beer cheese dip or herb butter for dunking.
