Easy Chocolate Bird Nests (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Nest Base

01 - 3 cups chocolate-flavored Rice Krispies cereal
02 - 1 cup creamy peanut butter
03 - 1 cup milk chocolate chips, melted

→ Decoration

04 - 36 mini candy-coated chocolate eggs

# Instructions:

01 - Place chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and warm in 30-second bursts on low heat. Give it a good stir between each burst until melted and smooth as silk.
02 - While the chocolate's still warm, quickly fold in the peanut butter until you have a glossy, unified mixture.
03 - Pour your chocolate-peanut butter blend over the Rice Krispies in a large bowl. Gently fold until every piece of cereal is coated in the chocolatey goodness.
04 - Lightly coat a standard 12-cup muffin tin with butter or cooking spray to prevent sticking.
05 - Divide the mixture evenly among the muffin cups, pressing lightly to fill each one completely.
06 - Using the back of a rounded spoon, gently press an indent in the middle of each portion to create a cozy nest shape.
07 - Pop the muffin tin in the refrigerator or freezer until the nests are firm to the touch.
08 - Once set, carefully nestle three candy eggs in each indent. Your adorable chocolate bird nests are ready to serve!
