01 -
Set up your work area by covering a large baking sheet or clean counter surface with parchment paper or wax paper. This is crucial - ensure every single strawberry is bone dry, as even the tiniest bit of moisture will cause your chocolate to seize up and become unusable.
02 -
Place your chopped chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat it gently using 50% power in 30-second bursts, giving it a good stir between each interval. Once the chocolate is nearly melted, remove it from the microwave and continue stirring until it becomes perfectly smooth and glossy.
03 -
Holding each strawberry by its green stem, dip it into the warm chocolate, gently rotating to ensure every surface gets coated. Allow any excess chocolate to drip off for a few seconds, then carefully place it on your prepared parchment-lined surface. Work through all your strawberries this way, then pop them in the fridge for 5-10 minutes until the chocolate sets firmly.
04 -
While your chocolate-coated strawberries are chilling, melt the white chocolate using the exact same gentle method as before. Once smooth, transfer it to a piping bag or a small ziplock bag with one corner snipped off. Create beautiful zigzag patterns by drizzling the white chocolate back and forth across each strawberry.
05 -
Return the decorated strawberries to the refrigerator until the white chocolate drizzle is completely set. Keep them stored in the fridge until you're ready to serve these elegant treats.
