Christmas Fudge (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 3 cups premium white chocolate chips
02 - 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
03 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
04 - ½ teaspoon pure peppermint extract

→ For Festive Colors

05 - ½ teaspoon vibrant red food coloring
06 - ½ teaspoon bright green food coloring

→ Optional Garnish

07 - 2 tablespoons colorful holiday sprinkles

# Instructions:

01 - Get an 8x8-inch square baking pan ready by lining it completely with parchment paper. Make sure the paper covers the bottom and climbs up all the sides - this will make removing your fudge so much easier later!
02 - In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine the white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, butter, and peppermint extract. This creates your creamy fudge foundation.
03 - Pop the bowl in the microwave for 30 seconds, then give it a good stir. Heat for another 30 seconds and stir again. Keep repeating this process in 30-second intervals until the chocolate melts completely. The chips will keep melting as you stir, so be patient and don't overheat or they'll seize up on you.
04 - Scoop out ½ cup of your fudge mixture into a small bowl. Add 3-4 drops of red food coloring and stir quickly - the mixture will be thick, so work fast! Add more coloring until you get that perfect Christmas red.
05 - Take another ½ cup of fudge mixture and place it in a separate small bowl. Add 2-3 drops of green food coloring and stir well. Adjust the color until you have a beautiful festive green.
06 - Using a spoon, drop dollops of the white, red, and green fudge all around your prepared pan. Then take a spoon or butter knife and gently swirl everything together to create gorgeous marbled patterns throughout.
07 - Sprinkle those holiday sprinkles on top if you're using them - they add such a festive sparkle to your creation!
08 - Place the pan in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours until the fudge is completely firm and set. This is the hardest part - waiting!
09 - Once set, lift the fudge out using the parchment paper and place on a cutting board. Use a sharp knife to cut into squares, wiping the blade clean between cuts for those perfect, clean edges.

# Notes:

01 - Store your fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days to keep it fresh and creamy.
02 - Feel free to swap peppermint extract for mint or vanilla extract if you prefer a different flavor profile.
03 - This recipe works beautifully for any holiday - just change the food coloring! Try pink and red for Valentine's Day, or pastel colors for Easter.
04 - You can substitute the white chocolate chips with milk or dark chocolate chips for a completely different flavor experience.
05 - While the butter adds extra richness, you can omit it if you prefer a slightly firmer texture.
06 - If you prefer using a double boiler instead of the microwave, just be extra careful not to get any water or steam in the mixture as it will cause the chocolate to seize.
