Fun Easter dessert for kids (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base & Topping

01 - 1 package (15.5 oz) Oreo cookies, crushed into crumbs
02 - 1/2 cup butter, softened to room temperature

→ Creamy Filling

03 - 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
04 - 1 cup powdered sugar
05 - 3 cups cold milk
06 - 2 boxes (3.4 oz each) instant chocolate pudding mix
07 - 12 oz Cool Whip, thawed completely

→ Festive Decorations

08 - 1 cup Easter M&M's candies
09 - 20 PEEP marshmallows
10 - Edible green Easter grass (optional for decoration)

# Instructions:

01 - In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened butter, softened cream cheese, and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy. Set this mixture aside while you prepare the pudding.
02 - In a separate bowl, whisk together the cold milk with both boxes of instant chocolate pudding mix until the mixture is smooth with no lumps.
03 - Pour the chocolate pudding mixture into the cream cheese mixture. Beat on medium speed until well combined, making sure to scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed for an even texture.
04 - Gently fold in the thawed Cool Whip until fully incorporated, being careful not to deflate the mixture too much.
05 - In a 9×13 baking dish, press half of the crushed Oreos evenly on the bottom. Pour the creamy pudding mixture over the Oreo layer, then sprinkle the remaining crushed Oreos on top to create a 'dirt' effect.
06 - Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set. When ready to serve, decorate the top with Easter M&M's, place one PEEP marshmallow on each serving slice, and add some edible green grass for a festive Easter garden look.
