01 -
Start by trimming any excess fat from your chicken tenders to keep them nice and lean.
02 -
Get your oven nice and hot by preheating it to 400°F - this will help your tenders get that perfect crispy exterior.
03 -
Set up three separate bowls for your breading assembly line. In the first bowl, mix together the flour with about ¼ teaspoon pepper and ½ teaspoon salt. In the second bowl, combine the olive oil (or melted butter) with the minced garlic. For the third bowl, mix together the dried basil, paprika, Panko breadcrumbs, and freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
04 -
Take each chicken tender and dip it first in the seasoned flour, then into the garlic oil mixture, and finally coat it thoroughly in the Parmesan-Panko mixture. Press gently to make sure the coating sticks well to each piece.
05 -
Place your breaded tenders on a baking sheet, leaving a bit of space between each piece. Slide the sheet into your preheated oven.
06 -
After about 15 minutes, flip each tender over and continue baking for another 5-8 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F and the coating is golden and crispy.
07 -
Take those golden beauties out of the oven and serve them right away while they're still hot and crispy! They're perfect with some Famous Fry Sauce for dipping.
