Start by heating your oven to 375°F and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.

Pop open the crescent roll tube and gently pull apart each triangle. Take the wider end and roll it inward a couple of times to create the hat's brim, then softly round out the pointed ends to give them that classic witch hat shape. Do this with every triangle.

Grab a small mixing bowl and whisk together the melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning until everything is nicely blended. Use a pastry brush to coat each shaped crescent roll with this flavorful butter mixture, then dust the tops with the grated Parmesan.

Slide the baking sheet into your preheated oven and bake for 8 to 10 minutes, keeping an eye on them until they turn a beautiful golden brown color.

Take the witch hats out of the oven and let them cool down completely on the baking sheet before you start decorating.

Once cooled, arrange a strip of cheddar cheese on each hat to create the hatband, then top it with a slice of black olive to make the buckle. Your festive witch hats are ready to enjoy!
