Spooky Halloween Fudge (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1⅓ cups white candy melting wafers
02 - 1⅓ cups dark chocolate candy melting wafers
03 - 16 oz container vanilla frosting

→ Food Coloring

04 - Black oil-based food coloring
05 - Red oil-based food coloring

# Instructions:

01 - Get an 8x8 inch baking pan ready by lining it with parchment paper or foil, making sure to leave some overhang on the sides so you can easily lift the fudge out later. If you're using foil, give it a quick spray with cooking oil to prevent sticking.
02 - Put each type of candy melts in separate microwave-safe bowls. Heat them in 30-second bursts, stirring between each round, until they're completely smooth and melted. Set these bowls aside for now.
03 - Take the lid and foil seal off your vanilla frosting container, then pop it in the microwave for about 35 seconds until it's completely melted and pourable.
04 - Split the melted frosting evenly between your two bowls of melted candy. Add red food coloring to the white candy mixture and black coloring to the dark chocolate mixture. Stir each one really well until you get the spooky colors you want - add more coloring if needed to make them nice and vibrant.
05 - Now for the fun part! Pour the two colored fudge mixtures into your prepared pan, alternating between the red and black. If you want that cool marbled look, drag a toothpick or knife through the colors once or twice to create swirls. Give the pan a gentle tap on the counter to even everything out.
06 - Cover your pan with plastic wrap and let it chill in the fridge for at least an hour, or until the fudge is completely firm to the touch.
07 - Once it's set, use those overhanging edges to lift the fudge out of the pan and onto your cutting board. Peel away the parchment or foil, then cut into 2-inch squares or use Halloween cookie cutters for festive shapes. Your spooky vampire fudge is ready to enjoy!

# Notes:

01 - This Halloween-themed fudge features dramatic swirls of deep red and black colors that create a striking vampire-inspired appearance perfect for spooky season celebrations.
02 - For best results, use oil-based food coloring rather than water-based, as it won't seize the chocolate and will give you more vibrant colors.
03 - Store at room temperature in an airtight container for 1-2 weeks, or refrigerate for up to 3-4 weeks for a firmer texture.
04 - Can be frozen for 2-3 months when properly wrapped - freeze as a whole block for best texture and thaw overnight in the refrigerator.
