Virgin Strawberry Margarita Recipe (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 pound fresh strawberries, washed and cut into slices
02 - 1/3 cup filtered water
03 - 2 fresh limes, juiced
04 - 32 ounces seltzer water (regular or lime-flavored)
05 - 2 cups crushed ice

→ Optional Sweetener

06 - 1/4 cup pure maple syrup (add to taste if desired)

# Instructions:

01 - Add your sliced strawberries and water to a medium-sized pot. Bring everything to a rolling boil, then turn down the heat and let it simmer gently. Cover the pot and let the strawberries cook for about 15 minutes until they're completely soft and tender.
02 - Once your strawberries are done cooking, drain off any extra liquid that's accumulated. Let the cooked strawberries cool down for about 15 minutes so they're safe to handle. Transfer them to a food processor or blender and blend until you have a completely smooth puree.
03 - Put your strawberry puree in the refrigerator and let it chill for at least an hour. This helps concentrate the flavors and gives you that perfect cold base for your margaritas.
04 - Take the strawberry puree out of the fridge and gather all your ingredients: the seltzer water, fresh lime juice, maple syrup (if using), and your crushed ice. Having everything ready makes assembly super easy.
05 - Fill four glasses with crushed ice. Spoon about 1/3 cup of the chilled strawberry puree over the ice in each glass. Add roughly 1 tablespoon of fresh lime juice to each glass for that perfect tangy kick.
06 - Pour 8 ounces of seltzer water into each glass, filling them up nicely. If you want a touch of sweetness, stir in some maple syrup to taste. Give everything a good stir to combine all the flavors, and serve immediately while everything's nice and cold!
